How can you make your straight hair wavy without using a curler?

I want to make my hair wavy, but I don’t know how. What do you think is the best way? I saw that people say to use salt water, but do you use it when your hair is dry or wet? && I know you can also braid it or put it in a bun. Do you know a way to make your hair wavy where it looks like its naturally wavy? Any suggestions? Thank you! =]

Salt water is your best ”Natural look” to achieve this use a spray bottle to mix about 8oz h2o to 1tbs kosher salt spray in hair all over as even as possible when damp them you have to work….. take hair in fairly large but not to large of section twists with fingers and blow dry each twist for best results remember the smaller the section the tighter the wave.Good luck

when your hair is wet your mousse…i like thermasilk the best….and scrunch it! you can do this while blow drying or letting it air dry!
finish with hairspray for extra hold and tadaa!

While your hair is damp, braid it then put it in a bun. It’s better if you sleep on it. Then let it loose in the morning when it’s dry, and just tease it a little with your fingers. don’t brush it! Put a little hair spray to set.
Don’t do it too often though, it’s not too healthy.

Towel dry your hair, flip it upside down and put volumizing mousse in it. Then scrunch it with a little gel.

You can have beautiful mermaid waves by towel-drying your hair and putting in mousse from the roots to the ends and braiding it. make sure to separate the individual braids the way you want the waves to dry(meaning, don’t use just two braids with a center part, as when it dries, you will have a big straight section in the middle of the back of your head) i would make two braids on each front side, 2 on each back side and 2 for the back. make them as tight as you can for best results and braid all the way down to the ends. secure with braiding hair ties(tinier and rubber or plastic). let it air dry. don’t sleep on it or blow dry it or you will get fuzzies.

After taking a bath, dry up your hair until its damp then put a little bit of moose on your hair then create a loose braid (depending on how loose or how tight you want the curls on your hair) on the portions of your hair then leave it after an hour or longer then spray a spray net for a strong hold.

I think the best way to get best-looking wavy hair is…. crossing your hair and tie it at the end. to get fine curl, cross a little amount of hair each time; for bigger wave, just make it 4-5 bunch. Spray some moose or stylling gel on it. Left for a few hours or over night for the best result(at least 6-9 hours depends on individuals’ hair structure).
For me, I prefer big wave. In the morning, I will tie my hair into a bun and go to class. If I were to go out at night, I’ll let it down, spray a little amount of water on it and apply some soft styling gel on it using only my hand and fingers. That gives me a real sexy big wave…

For Healthy and Shiny hair
It is better to apply castor oil for a healthy growth of hair.
Wash hair with tea once in a week.
Apply besan in the hair and wash it with water drained from the cooked rice.
Soak a handful of gooseberry in a cup of milk for two hours. Make it as a paste and apply in the hair. (more and more)

Back in the 1940s, they would make ‘pin-curls’: women would wet down their hair and twist sections into curls, then pin down. The tighter the twist, the tighter the curl. They’d do this before they went to bed and in the morning would have waves or curls! You can do the same thing today, except instead of just wetting and twisting your hair, use a setting lotion to help maintain the wave throughout the next day.

Problem: limp, wilted locks (if you want it wavy)
1) Blow-dry with your head upside down and mist with hair spray for volume before flipping up
2) Fake beach-day hair! Add one tsp salt to a hair spray bottle filled with water and spritz into your roots for height, or throughout hair for waves. The mixture adds texture to hair, just like an after an ocean dip!

use mousse(or other curling products) when your hair is damp and scrunch it ith a towel, finish off with a finishing spray such as hair spray.
or you could maybe get a perm

after you get out of the shower put in some kind of hair gel and then use your hands to scrunch up your hair

If you french braid your hair, as close to your front, and tiny, as possible, and do it wet until dry. I guarantee it will be wavy. It works on my hair for a couple days. I have baby fine, super straight, down to my waist hair. it’s hard to get anything like this to work for very long…but the braid has it.
