What would happen if you were tanning in a tanning bed during an early pregnancy?

I always wondered what would happen if you were maybe a month or less pregnant and didn’t know, and you tanned daily in the tanning bed. Would it cause birth defects or would you have a miscarriage?

As soon as you find out your pregnant you should stop using them. But…some women dont find out they are pregnant after 4 weeks.
They say its safe up to 10 week pregnant. But I would take that risk, personally!

Um a number of things can happen if a tanning bed isn’t good for you when you aren’t pregnant! It can possible cause cramping which can lead to a miscarriage because of how long you have to lay there under the heat. Doctors don’t even want you to take baths that are too hot when you’re pregnant so tanning beds definitely out!.
