I paint my nails a lot and they r kinda yellow. I’ve had nail polish off of them for about a month and they look a little better so i dont think its a fungus or anything. Would clear nail polish make them any worse?

I paint my nails a lot, and I know that if I paint them too much, they won’t get air and they will turn yellow. But if it turns yellow, can it go back to normal? How long do you need your nails to get air before you paint your nails again?
