I am an advanced beginner in Irish and just competed in a feis. I don’t know how many points i got yet, but I wanted to be sure.

I have sewn by hand before and done small crafts, but I went out and got my first Singer sewing machine. I am finding it is not as easy as it looks. What are some helpful hints you have discovered? The most important thing to know? Anything that you found helpful as you were learning.
