I’m planning on get it pierced on friday but in august I’m going to have to swim in salt b/c I’m going on a cruise. Don’t you have to clean it with salt water? So wouldn’t that mean its okay to swim with it in salt water?

I keep reading that you should use warm sea salt water to clean your cartilage piercing, but I dont have sea salt at the moment. Can I use regular salt for now?
